A bit of a dust storm today
We sometimes get the dust storms coming in from the Gobi Desert which is quite some distance from us. It coats everything with a very fine yellow dust. View on ExposureRoom

My son, Stephen passed away last night
Stephen was my eldest son and had been suffering from an unknown illness for many years. Tangi will be at the marae in Te Hapua in the far north of New Zealand. Sadly missed.

Remembering the visit of two of my granddaughters last year

Yesterday I said farewell to Cici
Cici who has been teaching English with me is moving on, I will miss her very much. yesterday Mei and I took Cici and Nina, and two others to a lunch together. Very good. Nina and her sister Cici and Julia The Three of them - Cici, Julia and Nina here...

A surprise call from my son Paul, in Monaco
