Saturday Morning in Anshan, Liaoning. China
Had some snow yesterday and overnight but after my porridge and bacon and eggs I feel good. Cool at -18c and expecting a high of -9c today.

We went to a Hot Pot restaurant, very spicy, very nice
Cook up a lot of meaty bones in a broth of vegetables and chilli and add the noodles later.
Arose this morning and it is–15c but brilliantly clear so will be sunny.
A nice clear day but it will be cold tonight, I am not going out.

My kids are so lovely
The little kids are just so lovely and when I go into their rooms their little eyes just light up .

First snow last night
It was gone very quickly as it still seemed to be warm but the forecast is saying temperatures will be down to 2c and –8c later with some more snow. Does not look like it yet.
